This video is from a Santa Monica College Health IT course. The instructor takes the time to discuss in detail the CPOE and the influence on healthcare communications. It is 8 minutes long, but is easy to use and follow. Well worth watching.
I really enjoyed your video! CPOE is something that is way out of reach in my nursing environment of long-term care. We still rely on paper charting and physician's orders. Even MARS are still done on paper. I think it will be a long time before this technology hits my nursing setting. I found the video very informative and helpful in increasing my understanding.
